  My parents have been members here for 40+ years and I understand why. It's the quintessential Southern country club: gorgeously appointed but infused with folksy down home vibe that won't allow it to feel stiff and stuffy. The location and views are stunning. The food is always on point. The golf is challenging without being soul-crushing if your just a casual player. It's always a delight to spend some time here when my family and I are home for a visit.
